DIY Natural Tooth Powder Recipe

Improved version here.

I was working on a natural toothpaste recipe for years. I tweaked it many times, but was never really happy with it. This time i decided to try tooth powder. I used:

1/4 cup each of baking soda, diatomaceous earth, arrowroot powder,  and bentonite clay

2 T Celtic Sea Salt

1 T Activated Charcoal powder

1 tsp stevia leaf

1/2 tsp each of ground cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and ginger

The feel of a tooth powder is something to adjust to if you, like most people, are accustomed to a foaming paste, but i prefer what’s natural and i’m used to it already. This batch tastes like salty pumpkin pie :)

You always have such interesting posts! Do you sell your tooth powder?

Thanks and unfortunately, i may never have time to prepare this one to sell. The regulations for soap sales are keeping me occupied full time and each new product takes dozens of hours just for the recipe, packaging, photography, title research, and descriptions, without even considering regulations. So maybe if there were three of me….no. Five. Five of me. :)
